Wee Wonders
2-3 year old boys and girls*

 

When: Fridays 4:40-5:00pm

Cost: $8/lesson

        

What: In this class we focus on fundamental movements skills, musical awareness, sensory interactions, basic dance positions, engagement and fun in dance. Please note: Parents are welcome to watch and participate if needed in this lesson. 

What to wear: Clothes that are comfortable and easy to move in. Active wear is best. For safety reasons, please no loose clothing below the knee as feet may become caught in the material causing injury. Footwear: bare feet, highland pumps/shoes or ballet shoes.

Bonnie Bridging Bairns
4-5 year old boys and girls*

When: Fridays 5:00-5:30pm

Cost: $10/lesson

        

What: This is a bridging class that prepares students to move into the Leaping Lads and Lassies class. This class focuses on teaching fundamental movement skills, Highland dance positions and movements, Highland inspired choreography, music and rhythm awareness, social interactions, sensory play, engagement and fun in dance.

What to wear: Clothes that are comfortable and easy to move in. Active wear is best. For safety reasons, please no loose clothing below the knee as feet may become caught in the material causing injury. Footwear: bare feet, highland pumps/shoes or ballet shoes.

Leaping Lads and Lassies
6-7 year old boys and girls*

 

When: Fridays 5:30-6:15pm

Cost: $12/lesson

        

What: This class focuses on teaching fundamental movement skills, traditional Highland dance positions, movements and dances, contemporary Highland inspired choreography, music and rhythm awareness, social interactions and engagement and fun in dance. We cater for dancers who just want to dance for fun and fitness, as well as those who wish to compete or participate in exams. 

What to wear: Clothes that are comfortable and easy to move in. Active wear is best. For safety reasons, please no loose clothing below the knee as feet may become caught in the material causing injury. Footwear: bare feet, highland pumps/shoes or ballet shoes.

Jigging Juniors
8+ year old boys and girls*

 

When: Friday 6:00-7:00pm

Cost: $18/lesson

      

What: This class focuses on teaching students traditional Highland Dancing, fun and funky Highland inspired choreographies, strength and fitness and how to engage, have fun while dancing. We cater for dancers who just want to dance for fun and fitness, as well as those who wish to compete or participate in exams. 

What to wear: Clothes that are comfortable and easy to move in e.g. Shorts or leggings and a t-shirt.  For safety reasons, please no loose fitting clothes below the knee as feet may become caught in the material causing injury.

Footwear: Beginners -  bare feet, highland pumps/shoes or ballet shoes.

Novice-Premier dancers - Highland pumps

Workout Warriors
 adults 

 

When: Friday 7:00-8:00pm

Cost: $18/lesson

      

What: This class is for beginner to advanced adult dancers. It focuses on teaching  traditional Highland Dancing and developing strength and fitness while having fun and meeting new people. We cater for dancers who just want to dance for fun and fitness, as well as those who wish to compete or participate in exams. 

What to wear: Clothes that are comfortable and easy to move in e.g. Shorts or leggings and a t-shirt.  For safety reasons, please no loose fitting clothes below the knee as feet may become caught in the material causing injury.

Footwear: Beginners -  bare feet, highland pumps/shoes or ballet shoes.

Novice-Premier dancers - Highland pumps

Online Classes
 Adults 

    

What: Self guided classes you can do in the comfort of your own home. We have 2 modules available, which include

 a range of short videos (about 10 min each) with a recommended order in which to follow them, but also allow you the flexibility to structure your own lesson depending on your energy levels and time. Videos include a warm up, barre work, centre work where you learn traditional highland dances, strength and fitness for dancing, and cool downs. The content will gradually increase in its intensity and complexity as participant's knowledge, skills, strength, and fitness increase. You can watch the videos as many times as you wish and can do them in the order you wish. The cost for the 1st online module is $35.

What to wear: Clothes that are comfortable and easy to move in e.g. Shorts or leggings and a t-shirt.  For safety reasons, please no skirts or dresses below the knee or loose fitting long pants as feet may become caught in the material causing injury.

Footwear: Beginners -  bare feet, highland pumps/shoes or ballet shoes.
